First Day at College - Day 1

Monday 14th February 2022

So today was an induction to our apprenticeship and to our college where we will be every Thursday apart from when we have block weeks. We meet the head of the course Grace and the IT director Dom who gave us a presentation about our course. We meet the other apprentices on the course, 17 total and showed us the expectations and behaviour we should have while at the college and on the course. We were given a small introduction to the itinerary of the course and what we would be taught in our first week. This would be a maths boot camp. We also were showed what to do if we were absent and what we should expect in our first week. Then, the select few were taken upstairs to have our pictures taken for our IDs but we weren't allowed them yet as we weren't fully on the system yet. After our pictures were taken we were given a small tour of the floor of the college where we would be. So that was our classroom the open area where we could hang out and in a room called the studio which is used for filming. Soon after the tour we were allowed to go home as that was the end on the introduction day.
