So today we got told that next week we will be moving into our new room. File formats - be careful of lossy compression chroma subsampling and bit depth and software differ. Transformation - such as translation, rotation and scaling involving filtering and image degradation. 8 bit operators style and colour will clip your colour channel information so be careful. This also means be careful with many file formats as they will clip your superwhites. The original plate is sacred and should be kept intact as possible. So try to not do any scaling, reformatting, retiming, sharpening/blurring or colour correction. You retain image quality by keeping image degradation to a minimum.
